The National Birth Defects Prevention Network (NBDPN) is a group of individuals involved in birth defects surveillance, research, and prevention. As a 501(c)3, the NBDPN fulfills its mission by pursuing the following goals: Improve access and application of information about the prevalence and trends of birth defects; Increase collaboration between members within the birth defects community; and Advance science through birth defects surveillance and its application to public health efforts and resource allocation.
As a member of the National Birth Defects Prevention Network, you join an international group of individuals dedicated to birth defects surveillance, research, and prevention.
Membership benefits include:
· data analysis & publication,
· technical training,
· creation of national program standards,
· annual meeting planning, and
· birth defects education and prevention materials development.
At this time, memberships are for the individual “participating member”. Annual membership dues are $100.00 (effective July 1, 2023). The NBDPN membership year will be transitioning to calendar year annual memberships beginning January 2025, so members will have the option to renew for July 2024-December 2024 (6 months prorated), or July 2024-December 2025 (18 months prorated).
