Call for Award Nominations

At every in-person NBDPN annual meeting, the Network acknowledges stunning achievements of individuals, programs, and agencies.  The Awards Presentation is always a shining moment for NBDPN members and others working in the field of birth defects.

Have you heard of ‘great happenings’ around the Network through NBDPN committee work?   Sometimes great accomplishments are born out of ordinary persistence.  Sometimes an activity has a ‘Wow!’ impact.

From now until Wednesday, January 31, 2018, please consider nominating individuals or programs that are making a difference, including your own. Consider taking part in a group nomination effort. A list of prior NBDPN award recipients is available at https://www.nbdpn.org/docs/_NBDPNAward_winners2015_2016DEC15.pdf

The NBDPN ad hoc Awards Group is soliciting nominations from the membership for the three awards listed below. The Nomination Awards Forms accompany this message.

1) The Godfrey P. Oakley, Jr. Award
